Kylie and Baby Umbert the elephant

When Kylie was born her Nana, Papa, aunt Madison and aunt Jaclyn brought her a little stuffed animal elephant.
Due to Mark's idea of a joke he named it Baby Umbert, after an old stuffed elephant of mine. Even though he has a weird name Kylie loves him.

Even at a young age she loved touching his soft fur and trying to put his trunk in her mouth.

She loves to hold him when she sleeps.

She even tries to get him when she is sitting in her Bumbo.
He even goes with her in her car seat!

She just can't get enough of him!

We sure love Baby Umbert and are so happy to have him and baby Kylie in our family!

Here are some pictures of Kylie after church.

Sadly all of these pictures are with her hands in her mouth, but I think that they are still pretty cute.

So Kylie turned four months a few weeks ago so I decided we would try and see if she was interested in eating some baby cereal. Lets just say I think we will be waiting a little while longer on the solid foods.

This was her before the food sitting in her bumbo with her bib ready to eat.

She didn't know what she was getting into.

At first she thought the bib was something to eat so she proceeded to put that in her mouth.

Then after the first bite she thought maybe her fingers would help it go down. She didn't have much luck with that but I think that made her think her fingers tasted better because she can't stop putting them in her mouth now.

After it was in her mouth I don't think she understood that she was supposed to swallow it.

I tried to give her some of her bottle between bites so that she would understand that the cereal was food but she didn't really go for that.

Most of the food ended up on her bib and in the end I gave up and just fed her her bottle.

She seemed pretty happy with that decision.

So the first attempt was not all together a failure, but I think we will wait a little while longer before we try again.

Kylie at Halloween

Here is my first real attempt at making a post on my blog. These are some pictures of Kylie on Halloween.
Kylie assisted me in making a fabulous jack-o-lantern.

Okay she didn't really help but I tried to make it look like she was helping. Here is the final product, it's a witch!

Pay attention to the cute baby and the pumpkin not the ugly lady holding the baby!!
Kylie was a tiger for Halloween she looked so cute!!

I was a Cowgirl

We didn't really go trick or treating because it was raining and Kylie doesn't eat candy yet but we did go to the Brick Oven Halloween party to see Mark.

Don't ask me what Mark was because I am still not sure!!

So this was our first Halloween with Kylie, not very exciting but she looked pretty cute!! Thanks to Nana and Papa for getting Kylie's costume.

Mark and I were married in the Timpanogos Temple on June 28th, 2007.

I broke down and made one...

So I was sitting at home on saturday night and had nothing better to do, so I figured I would make a blog so once our baby is born we can put all of her cute pictures on here. But I guess I will start off by putting some of our wedding pictures and stuff before the baby until she gets here!!
