So Kylie turned four months a few weeks ago so I decided we would try and see if she was interested in eating some baby cereal. Lets just say I think we will be waiting a little while longer on the solid foods.

This was her before the food sitting in her bumbo with her bib ready to eat.

She didn't know what she was getting into.

At first she thought the bib was something to eat so she proceeded to put that in her mouth.

Then after the first bite she thought maybe her fingers would help it go down. She didn't have much luck with that but I think that made her think her fingers tasted better because she can't stop putting them in her mouth now.

After it was in her mouth I don't think she understood that she was supposed to swallow it.
I tried to give her some of her bottle between bites so that she would understand that the cereal was food but she didn't really go for that.

Most of the food ended up on her bib and in the end I gave up and just fed her her bottle.

So the first attempt was not all together a failure, but I think we will wait a little while longer before we try again.
